Angela Watson is a master trainer, executive coach, motivational speaker, championship dog sport competitor and judge, sports dog trainer, and presenter.

Hi, I’m Angela. Welcome to Muddy Boots & Coffee.

This is the story of me and my golden retrievers. We are travelling the UK, in pursuit of a dream, going wherever the dog shows take us – and sharing the journey with you.

My life looked good on paper. Then one Tuesday everything changed. I left that life behind and rebuilt it from scratch. Since then I’ve made it my goal to make the most of life, and help others do the same.

Somewhere in the rubble, dogs came into my world and through them I discovered dog sports. That swiftly became my obsession and my favourite form of adventure: the special bond, life on the road, the competitions, and the personal discovery – going wherever the journey takes us, and enjoying the ride.

I started Muddy Boots & Coffee one winter, when there were no dog shows, and decided that I needed something positive to channel my energy into. Since then I’ve started sharing everything I love about living with dogs, competitive obedience, and the dog-friendly places we’ve found on the journey. Turns out not all ‘dog-friendly’ stays are created equal so I’ll be giving a shout out to all the special places we’ve stayed where dogs are not just allowed but are genuinely welcome.

My mission is simple: To make truly dog-friendly stays easier to find.
